About
My career gave me something I value more than any title: the ability to move between worlds β the corporate and the academic, the strategic and the deeply personal.
I currently serve as Director of Communication, Institutional Relations and ESG at SPIC Brasil, one of the largest clean energy companies in the world. I've worked through mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, consulting, crisis management β and in each place I kept learning about processes while growing more interested in people.
In my master's, I researched intercultural communication between Brazilian and Chinese executives β how two radically different cultures negotiate meaning within the same company. That experience changed how I think about communication: less a tool for persuasion, more a bridge between different worlds. Today, in my doctoral research, I investigate the relationship between mental health in organizations and the use of technology outside of work.
I study and practice artificial intelligence every day, with a conviction that is not technical β it's philosophical: technology that doesn't improve people's lives is just sophisticated noise. AI interests me as a tool to give back time, reduce bureaucracy, and free creativity. The opposite of "doing the work of ten with three."
I'm a father of twins. Julia, who pretends to be sleeping so I'll pick her up, and Leo, who asks me questions in the car that I can't answer. I wrote a book about that experience. Not because I have answers about fatherhood, but because sharing the questions was already urgent.
